1. Clarion Inn Historic Leesburg
Cost: Between $95-129. Plus with the application of some Expedia coupon codes you can save 20% off your stay.
The Clarion Inn does everything right. The hotel room choices are pretty simple: either you can have one room with a king-sized room, or you can have a two-queen bed room. But the hotel is well-run and offers lots of cool options that make staying there a dependable experience. It’s a pet-friendly hotel, so you can bring your pooch with you on your vacation and you don’t have to worry about leaving him or her in the car.
They also have complimentary internet and parking: both of which can add up if your hotel tries to nickel and dime you with added fees.
The best feature? Starting with Lunch, the hotel has an authentic Indian restaurant called “Silk” that offers delicious Indian food. They also offer a buffet option if you want to try a little of everything.

2. Hampton Inn and Suites
Cost: $175-$250
The Hampton Inn and Clarion Inn are located so close to each other that it’s difficult to decide on one over the other. The main difference is location: The Clarion Inn is located closer to historical areas of Leesburg (and thus more attractive to tourists). Whereas the Hampton Inn is located close to downtown. In fact, one major selling point is that it’s just around the corner from major outlet shopping (which is something locals and weekenders would be more attracted to). The hotel has more of a contemporary feel compared to the Clarion Inn as well.
They both have similar amenities: complimentary internet and parking. The pool in indoor (as opposed to an outdoor pool at the Clarion Inn).
So there you have it: looking for modern and close to shopping? The Hampton Inn is your hotel. Looking for a historical experience in a historical city? The Clarion is probably closer to your liking.

3. Lansdowne Resort and Spa
Cost: $250-$330
This hotel is for the luxury crowd. The Lansdowne Resort is located right in the heart of wine country, and has numerous activities for couples on weekend getaways and spa getaways for women. Want to ride a horse through a vineyard? They have an activity for that.
The guest rooms are luxurious, spacious, and have great views. There are lots of luxury suites available if you’re looking to splurge.
I mean, this sounds like the best hotel in the area. Why is it #3 on this list?
The reason we put the Landsdowne Resort #3 is that it’s pretty far away from Leesburg. If you’re going to the Resort, you are probably going to stay at the Resort for the duration of your trip. And why not? There is a ton of things to do there. If you’re a couple that’s looking for a relaxing getaway in Virginia, this is a great option.
